I am an art director and designer, currently living in Los Angeles with my husband and our Great Dane, Winnie. I have professional experience in fashion and beauty, in New York and LA.
I am a Gemini and a natural-born, night-owl. I like gardening, but not certain I have a green thumb. If I could, I would walk everywhere. I am fascinated by the mafia. I love fashion. I wish I loved running, but I don't. I do love SoulCycle...I'm hooked. I’ll read anything by Jane Jacobs, twice. I miss New York, I miss Brooklyn more, but at last I love life in LA. The free-spirited approach here is tangible and motivating. i love to travel; I believe that experiencing new places and cultures is essential for the soul. I like to build things with my hands. When I was 9 or 10, I took a woodworking class in a converted school bus; I made a pencil holder. I have six siblings. I don’t like to be barefoot inside but I don't mind it outside. I love a hand-crafted cocktail. I think Halloween is magic mostly because it gives me a reason to create my costume. I love to sew. I don’t think there are many things in life better than an excellent grilled cheese. I love dogs, I really love Great Danes.
I feel lucky to do what I love. I believe successful creatives are resourceful, problem solvers who balance logic with imagination, and genuinely seek a collaboration. I feel most fulfilled when I'm on set and I live for the creative process. I am truly humbled and so inspired when creatives I deeply respect tell me I've created a space [on set] that welcomes all voices, a forum that is open to all ideas, and that I've led a shoot with calm confidence. I love supporting and working with other women in particular, and find strength in that unbreakable, #girlcrew energy.
